her heart is breaking in front of me

this next week is going to be horrible for me. i turned in my schedule for EM to the beanery on friday while they were making the schedule. i'm working em MWF 3-7 and TT 9-12. so what do they give me? MW off from beanery, tues 4-cl, thurs 12-4, sat 4-cl and sun 1-cl. are you effing kidding me?! one of the girls there, violet, just finished taking all the quizzes (the first of anyone) and even though she has to work the weekend as well, she gets to open. i told sarah (the one who makes the schedules) that i didn't understand why violet was allowed to open. i understand she just finished all the quizzes and everything, but she hasn't been working there as long as me, and we had talked before that if there was a day i had to work and opening was available as an alternative to closing that i would get it above the other trainees (now that elissa has left). she basically was like, well you can ask anyone if they want to switch with you. yeah. right. people would really rather close on the weekend. thanks so much for leaving me with this shit schedule. so i don't have a day off for the next week starting tomorrow morning. fabulous.

i went shopping with my mom this morning for school stuff, but didn't get very far. i got a couple sets of dishes and...basically that was it. picked up my HP6 book, but haven't started reading it yet. i'm almost done with this book "superstud" that i'm reading. if you want a funny book, this one's HILARIOUS. it's written by the creator of the show "freaks and geeks" if you ever watched it. i'll explain more about it later, but i laugh out loud every time i read it. it's aMAZing.

stayed home last night since i wasn't feeling well. i seriously watched three movies in a row. that's insane. i couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep, so i just laid in bed with my dog and watched my flicks. it was nice actually. i did a little more of the latch hook thing i got, but i don't think i'll have it done by the time i go back to school. anyway, i guess we'll see. if it's not i'll just keep working on it and see how long it takes me. it's super cute and i love the colors so i know i'll find something to do with it. i'm rambling, so i guess i should stop now.
